Abstract

372,046. Mixing-devices. RITTER, P., 9, Fichtestrasse, Schreckenstein, near Aussig, Czecho-Slovakia. March 26, 1931, No. 9243. [Class 86.] Mixing-apparatus comprises a drum 1 having inclined annular partitions 2 divided into pockets by longitudinal blades 3, and a rotor 7 comprising radial partitions 9 and inclined partitions 8. The two members may be integrally connected, or may be rotated at the same or different speeds and in opposite directions, and the material is mixed by falling out of the pockets formed in the drum 1 into those in the rotor, and vice versa. The drum is charged by a hopper 15 and discharged by a shoot 17, the ends of the drum being closed by fixed members 11 fitted with external flanges 12 engaging spring rings 13 on extensions 14 of the outer drum.
