Abstract

371,794. Shearing. SCHLOEMANN AKT.-GES., 13, Steinstrasse, Dusseldorf, Germany. March 11, 1932, No. 7360. Convention date, March 11, 1931. [Class 83 (iv).] In a machine for trimming the edges of thin sheets, rows of guiding and straightening rollers 13 are arranged between the shearing discs 4. The discs 4 are geared together and are driven from an electromotor 5 and are supported in a fixed frame 2 and an adjustable frame 3 moved by an electromotor 7. The frames 2, 3 carry guide-rods 9 on which are mounted carriers 10 for rollers 13. The carriers 10 are connected by lazytong linkage 12 anchored to the frames 2, 3 in order to maintain the equal spacing of the rollers 13 when the frame 3 is adjusted.
