Apparatus for straightening or curving sections comprises a pair of opposed driven profiled rolls 1, 2 directing the section to a third roll 3. The roll 3 and a roll 4 may be adjusted to curve the section. The rolls 1, 2 are each coupled to a gear with one of which a third gear meshes, the spacing between the rolls 1, 2 being adjustable by rolling movement of the said one gear about the periphery of the said third gear.
