Abstract

371,253. Key holders. TRIGGS, W. W., 57, Lincoln's Inn Fields, London.-(Buxton, Inc.; 322, Main Street; Springfield, Massachusetts, U.S.A.) Aug. 10, 1931, No. 22547. [Class 44.] A device for fastening key holders in a key case consists of two plates 11, 19 each having tubular portions 12, 20 with keyhole slots 13, 21. With the plate 19 as shown, enlargements 17, 22 in the slots 13, 21 are aligned and the knob 16 of the key holder 15 can enter vertically. It is retained by lowering the plate ,19. The tubular parts 12, 20 are not quite cylindrical and tighten one on the other when the plate 19 is lowered. The plate 11 is riveted at 9 to a flap of leather 10<1> sewn to the case 10 at 29. The plate 19 may be divided into a number of sections each with one keyhole slot. The slots 13 in the plate 11 may be open ended. In a modified form, the outer member is fastened to the leather flap, and the inner tubular member which is formed without a plate extension is turned by a handle attached to it at one end and moving between suitable lugs.
