[Classes 40 (iii) and 40 (v).] The circuit of a loud-speaker 3 capable of reproducing the whole audio-frequency range includes a filter having a characteristic curve which falls more abruptly than that of the loud-speaker in the neighbourhood of the higher audio-frequencies. The filter preferably comprises series inductance coils L coupled to each other, and shunt capacities C. It may be on the primary or secondary side of the output transformer 1, 2 of a valve amplifier, and may be embodied in the loud-speaker structure or in the amplifier.
