Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. Drawings to Specification. [Class 100 (iil.] In a process of printing wallpapers or similar lengths of material, the colour applied is squeezed away by rollers or other members bearing raised patterns, the squeezing-rollers being coloured before the squeezing process so as to produce a pattern different in colour from the background but merging into the background. A uniform coating of ground colour is first applied to the web of paper &c., and before the colour is dry, the web is passed between squeezing-rollers one of which bears a raised pattern coated with a liquid colour, the two colours being miscible but differing in their solvents or concentrations. The squeezing- roller bearing against the underside of the web may be formed with an uneven surface and co-operate with a smooth or patterned upper roller.
