365,835. Hair combs. KOERBER, F., Meyrin, Geneva, Switzerland. Feb. 14, 1931, No. 4775. Convention date, June 21, 1930. [Class 131.] An instrument for removing grease from the hair comprises a pair of combs 2, a pad 5 of grease-absorbing material adapted to be fitted between the spaced teeth of the combs, and a supporting member 7 for the combs, the combs being hinged together at 3 and slidably engaging in a groove 4 in the supporting member 7. The pad 5 is provided with slits 6 situated between the teeth of the combs, in which slits the hair engages. The pad 5 is compressed between the combs 2, the teeth being provided with wide flat transverse faces 8 to form bearing surfaces for the projecting portions of the pad.
