511,239. Embossing dough. PISCHINGER, F. W., and GUEBEY, R Oct. 20, 1938, No. 30365. Convention date, Oct. 22, 1937. [Class 87 (ii)] A device for marking dough for biscuits, cakes and the like comprises a plane or cylindrical support 1 provided with removable characters 3 adapted to be slid into grooves 2 in the support and extending to the edge thereof. The characters are locked in the grooves by a single closure member adapted to cover the edge of the support. The grooves may be of dovetail or rectangular cross-section. The characters may project above the level of the support and there may be elements without characters at the ends of the groove.
