Abstract

[Class 139.] A waterproof wrist watch comprises an outer casing f, hermetically sealed except at one end into which slides an inner casing a enclosing the movement. In the closed position a bevel s on the outer case meets rubber packing q housed on a ring member o on the impervious end wall n of the casing a. The two casings are locked by a hook t, integral with casing f and engaging a shoulder on the inner casing. This hook may be released by a transversely sliding pin a which has a nose v normally housed in a recess w of hook t. A transparent disc m, preferably of sapphire, is sealed into an aperture of the outer casing. The ends of the bracelet are attached to bars h, j extending between lugs g, k on the outer and inner casings respectively. These casings are arcuate in section and rectangular in plan.
