362,603. Boxes for garments &c. BARNES, A. H., 11, Lime Tree Avenue, Retford, Nottinghamshire. Oct. 23, 1930, No. 31882. [Class 18.1 A cardboard box for garments &c. is provided with one or more flyleaves 2, Fig. 1, for holding the contents in place, each leaf being secured to the inside of the box at one end 3 and the opposite free end of the leaf having one or more tabs 4 each of which is, when the contents are in the box, passed through two or more slots 5, 6 to adjustably retain the leaf in position; the end of the tab is passed over a projection 7 on the end of the box and retained in position when the lid is placed over the body of the box. In the form shown in Fig. 2, the flyleaf has a pair of tabs 4 and crossbracings 16, 17 of tape are provided for holding articles above the flyleaf, the brace 16 being secured at one end to the end wall 18 of the box and having the brace 17 secured to it; the free ends of the bracings are passed through slots 19, 20 in the box and retained in position over projections 21 in the same manner as the ends of the tabs 4. Bracings may be arranged below the flyleaf for securing articles thereunder or bracings may be arranged both above and below a flyleaf; the bracings may be arranged diagonally across the box.
