360,243. Roads. BERRY, WIGGINS, & CO., Ltd., Tensulam House, Water Lane, Stratford, London, and SMITH, A. J., Westwood, Quorn, Loughborough, Leicestershire. Dec. 13, 1930, No. 37661. [Class 107.] Roads having a bituminous, tarry or similar binder are treated to remove slipperiness by rolling into the road surface a layer of heated stone or slag chippings which temporarily soften the binder and become embedded therein. No additional binder is used. The chippings are heated to about 300- 400‹ F.
