[Class 38 (ii).] The plates of condensers, particularly variable condensers, are formed of a base a of a metal of high resistance, such as steel constantin or manganin, and surface coatings or layers b of a metal of good conductivity, such as copper, nickel, or silver. Specification 351,516 is referred to.
