[Class 40 (v).j An aerial for broadcasting comprises a plurality of radiating portions about one half a wavelength long arranged substantially in a circle or polygon and substantially parallel to the earth's surface, said portions being arranged one above the other preferably half a wavelength apart and excited in phase. If desired, a plurality of such systems may be arranged next to each other.
