358,365. Casting-machines. KRUPP AKT.-GES., F., Essen, Germany. Dec. 10, 1930, No. 37300. Convention date, Dec. 13, 1929. [Class 83 (i).] A casting mould for use in the manufacture of cast-iron socket pipes by the centrifugal casting process is formed by shaping it by pressing or forging in a die from a rolled, drawn, or hollow forged caststeel pipe. The socket portion C of the mould may be formed separately and connected to the pipe portion B by screwing, shrinking, or welding. Specifications 197,177 and 287,317, [both in Class 83 (i), Casting &c. metals], are referred to.
