[Class 28 (i).] A cooking-device comprises a framework consisting of two portions a, a<1> hinged together at b, and carrying metal plates c, c<1> which are heated by burners or electric heaters d, d<1> connected together by a flexible connection f<1>. The food is suspended between the plates c, c<1> and the portions a, a<1> may be opened for the removal or insertion of the food without extinguishing or switching off the heater. As shown, the heating is effected by gas burners, lighting holes h, h<1> being provided. According to the Provisional Specification, a drip pan may be provided beneath the hot plates.
