357,033. Bathing-appliances. WRAGE, W., 38, Karistal, Gaarden, Kiel, Germany. Dec. 24, 1930, No. 38882. [Class 77.] A bathing-appliance of the kind comprising a hand-operated propeller and a pair of buoyant bodies between which the bather is accommodated on a submerged seat, has a propeller n, and a pair of buoyant bodies a, b between which the person is accommodated on a submerged seat i, the bodies being arranged in alignment to represent a fish &c. The seat i is carried by a submerged frame e which connects the two bodies. Bevel gears o, p connect the vertical shaft r with the propeller shaft m. The pinion t on the shaft r meshes with the bevel gear u, which is loosely mounted on the shaft v and is rotated by the arm z through pawl and ratchet gear. The pinion u may be fixed to the shaft v and adapted for continuous rotation in either direction.
