[Class 12 (ii).] In powertransmission chains of the type comprising inner links e connected bv a sleeve band outer links d connected by a pin or rivet a, a loose bushing c of softer metal is interposed between the pin and the sleeve to act as a wearing piece. The bushing may be slotted, perforated, or subdivided to assist the lubrication of the bearing surfaces.
