[Class 60.] Wheels.-In grinding apparatus wherein a grinding-head c is reciprocated on a hollow rotating spindle a bv means of a cross-threaded spindle b and a nut d, a detachable bush f is provided between the head and the spindle, the bush having recesses g, so that it contacts with the spindle only on segmental surfaces h. When the bush is worn out, it is replaced by another with the recesses facing the worn parts of the spindle, the new bearing surfaces contacting with unworn parts of the spindle.
