Abstract
355,507. AttachÚ case &c. fastenings. HENRY, A. R., 39, Victoria Street, London. Aug. 19, 1930, No. 24799. [Class 44.] A safety fastening for attachÚ cases &c. of the kind comprising a rectangular frame 13 adapted to engage over the handle 11 as shown, the frame is hinged to the lid by plates 16 having V-tongues passed through the lid.and bent over. As shown in Fig. 2 one tongue 19 is stamped out and two tongues 20 are formed by oblique incissions at the edge of the plate, the points of the tongues 19, 20 preferably being oppositely directed. A roll 15 at the plate edge receives the ends 14 of frame 13, which may be bent inwardly as shown, or outwardly.
