354,776. Tubular &c. holders for liquids. GREEN, T. W., 149, High Road, Woodford Green, Essex. March 8, 1930, No. 7635. [Class 19.] A holder .for liquid for medical, toilet, and perfuming purposes, or for removing grease from clothes or fabrics &c., comprises a tubular or other container a against which a felt or other absorbent pad c is pressed by a screw b having threads of smaller diameter than those in the portion a<1> so that on inclining the device and withdrawing the tightly fitting cap e liquid flows to the pad. A groove b<1> across the threads may also be provided to assist the flow. The container may be fitted with 2 outlets and pads, or it may be divided into 2 compartments for different liquids. The pad may be secured by wires to the outer face of the screw head, holes being formed through the head for the passage of the liquid. The cap may be provided with a clip for the pocket. Liquids specified are petrol, benzine, ammonia, and iodine.
