[Class 26.] In siphon flushing devices, wherein a plunger operates in a barrel, the valve which permits the passage of the flush through an aperture 2 in the plunger 1, comprises a plate 7 having an upwardly projecting curved or angular heel portion 9 upon which the plate rocks. The plate may be retained by one or more headed screws or studs 4 which may serve to limit the movement of the plate and may be disposed in large holes in the heel or plate or in both. The device may be adapted for use with plungers having two holes for the passage of the flush, or with an aperture for the flushing tube.
