[Class 120 (i).] In metal-faced wooden lags for carding and ragtearing machines, cotton waste openers &c. the countersunk holes 5 for securing the metal facing 1, Fig. 1, and the countersunk holes 4, Fig. 2, through which pass the screws for securing the lags 2 to the cylinders are formed by pressing or punching the metal around the holes into the wood or into recesses therein.
