Sept. 27, 1930, No. 28993. [Class 143.] Casings.-In a weighing-apparatus the indicator or like casing is closed by a cover attached by means of concealed interengaging bearings and supports on the cover and casing respectively, and locked in position or unlocked by a single concealed screw. In Fig. 2, is shown the means for attaching the front cover 1 of a drum indicator casing 3. These means comprise pointed pins 7 adjustable in the casing and adapted to engage conical recesses in the cover 1. A screw 10 accessible through an aperture 11 engages a boss 5 inside the cover and secures the same in position. The ends 12, Fig. 4, of the indicator, casing may be attached by means of a spring tongue 14 engageable behind a lip on the casing3, and of a screw 20 manipulated from inside the casing.
