Abstract
352,253. Lavatory basins, baths, &c. TWYFORDS, Ltd. and WEBSTER, J. T., Newcastle Road, Hanley, Staffordshire. July 10, 1930, No. 20843. [Class 26.] The overflow opening or openings 12 of a lavatorybasin, sink, bath or bidet are formed in a ledge or shoulder 8 disposed behind the wall 7a of a tray or recess 5 and are situated above the bottom of the trav. The rear portion of the basin has an integral platform which may be divided into three trays 4, 5, 6 ; the middle tray, which may be used as a soap tray, having inclined transverse drainage grooves 9 opening into a channel 10 disposed at the rear of the shoulder 8 and communicating with a transverse aperture or gap 11 in the wall 7a. The overflow passage 13 is preferably moulded in one piece with the rear wall of the basin..
