445,947. Lavatory basins and sinks. POUNTNEY & CO., Ltd., The Bristol Pottery, and LONGBOTTOM, F., 45, Lodge Causeway, both in Fishponds, Bristol. Oct. 29, 1934, No. 31023. [Class 26] A shelf a, provided with a vertical web c and a lip e, is positioned at the rear of a lavatory basin or sink so that it extends forwardly to overhang the basin &c. only sufficiently for the lip to engage with an upstanding member k on the basin or with the back wall of the sink to cover the joint between the shelf and the member or wall. The vertical web may have an enlarged base c<1> and side panels and is apertured to receive a bolt g passing through the member k of the basin or the back wall of the sink. The shelf member may be moulded in one piece. Specification 348,994 is referred to.
