A screening cage for inductance coils comprises two casing parts between which a plastic packing of metal or other electrically conducting material is provided. As shown, casing parts 1, 3 are provided with flanges 2, 4 between which a lead wire 6 is clamped in a groove 5. The casing may be constructed of metal-coated insulating or poor conductor material, for example, a covering of silver or copper may be employed. The flanges are thicker than the wall portions. The packing may be located in a number of circular grooves or in a spiral groove.
