Abstract

348,446. Brackets. SIEMENSSCHUCKERTWERKE AKT.-GES., Siemensstadt, Berlin. July 2, 1930, No. 20116. Convention date, Oct. 2, 1929. [Class 52 (v).] In small machines, particularly sewing and knitting machines and machine tools, driven by an electric motor 11 secured by bolts 18 to an arm 14 secured to the machine bed, the end of the arm to which the motor is secured is bent over so as to be parallel to the motor base and is provided with elongated holes 17 which permit axial adjustment of the motor, and the other end 19 of the arm is provided with an elongated hole 20 through which a screw 21 guided in a horizontal slot 22 in the machine bed 15 is passed, and when this screw is loosened, horizontal and vertical adjustment of the motor is permitted. Two parallel slots in both the machine bed and the end 19 of the arm may be provided if it is desired to secure the arm more firmly.
