347,392. Radiators for heating buildings. HERRING, E. and JEFFREYS & CO., Ltd., J., Barrons Place, Waterloo Road, London. March 5, 1930, No. 7220. [Classes 64 (i) and 64 (ii).] Apparatus for heating a room by radiation and convection comprises two or more heating elements A, A<1>, each consisting of two thin metal plates a3, a4 spaced apart by marginal strips a<5>, with a continuous coil of metal piping a<6> embedded in a conducting material such as plaster and in contact with the plates. An adjustable damper b<3> is provided whereby the convection heating due to the air passing between the heated plates may be regulated, without operating the valves controlling the heating medium.
