Abstract
343,780. Snatch-blocks. ANDREWS, C. H., 3, Cross Lane, Eastcheap, London. March 17, 1930, No. 8527. [Class 78 (v).] A snatch-block for running out overhead electric conductors comprises wooden cheeks 1 separated at their lower ends by a wooden distance piece 2, metal straps 5 which extend down and are countersunk below the inner face of each cheek, a sheave pin 14 on which runs a wooden sheave 13 provided with roller bearings 21, and a pivotally mounted upper distance piece 8 of metal on which a swivel hook 12 is mounted.
