Abstract
343,012. Solidification of carbondioxide. STAPP, P., 28, Bauerstrasse, Munich, Germany. Nov. 7, 1929, No. 34040. [Class 8 (ii).] In the production of solid carbon dioxide the liquid is precooled, and then by slowly releasing the gas pressure above the surface, the liquid cools to the triple point. Continued slow release of the gas pressure then results in solidification without further cooling.
