Abstract
342,501. Fire-extinguishers. RYAN, E. C., 14, Harvard Mansions, Battersea, London. Jan. 17, 1930, No. 1785. Addition to 324,558, [Class 47 (ii), Fire-extinguishing &c.]. [Class 47 (ii).] The hand-sprinkler described in the parent Specification is modified in that the closing cap is a push fit on the nozzle 2, which has a plain outer end. The cap comprises a disc 3 with a depending flange 4, which is slotted as at 5 to increase its resiliency. This cap will be thrown off by the force of the contents when the extinguisher is operated.
