[Class 89 (i).] The adhesion of screw-threaded metal units, such as nuts and bolts, experienced when the units are employed in machines or structures, such as superheated steam installations, which are subject to high temperatures, is prevented by coating the thread of one part of the unit with a metal, such as nickel, which does not adhere to the complementary thread at the maximum working temperature.
