Abstract
339,180. Junghans, H. Jan. 28, 1930. Framework. - A frame-plate is made from a single sheet of metal and comprises a central plate a (carrying the movement) having integral therewith, and spaced from it in a parallel plane, a circumferential part which consists of two members c<1> and c<2>. Fig. 1 shows the plate first stamped and Figs. 2 and 3 show the relative positions after the connecting pieces b<1> - - b<4> have been bent twice at right angles. Parts c<1>, c' are for the attachment of the dial, the parts i<1> - - i<3> serve to support arbors of the movement and lugs g<1>, g<2> limit the expansion of the main and alarm springs. If the plate a is of iron, one end of the alarm spring may be welded thereto.
