Bodies.-A hollow compound metal sheeting for uses such as motor car floors and roofs, is formed from sheets a, provided with rib-pleate b inturned toward the sheet and interlocked with similar rib-pleats on the face of another metal sheet, the ribs forming the distance-pieces between the surfaces. The sheets on one face are staggered relatively to the sheets on the other face and the inner sheeting may be perforated to lighten it.
