Abstract

336,449. Phillips, C. D., and Phillips, Ltd., C. D. Oct. 31, 1929. Collapsable vehicles; vehicles with removable bodies; caravans.-A trailer vehicle for camping &c. is provided with a body comprised of sections which may be removed from the chassis and converted into articles of furniture. The vehicle comprises two end sections 16, Fig. 1, formed as open-ended boxes 23, Fig. 4, having shelves 28 which may be fixed into position when desired, a side section 17, Fig. 7, having top and bottom pieces 22<a>, 21<a> secured in position by brackets 30 and shelves 32, a side section 18 having foldable legs 34, Fig. 10, to convert it into a table and a top section which is also provided with similar foldable legs to convert it into a table. The sections are adapted to fit together and to the chassis when assembled for travelling.
