Abstract

336,186. Hardmeier, H., and Uhlig, A. Jan. 26, 1929, [Convention date]. Windows, preventing condensation on. - A device for removing or preventing condensation on windows, of the kind in which electricallyheated air is distributed over the surface of the window by a fan, has the heating element disposed between the fan and the distributing pipe. A perforated distributing pipe 2 mounted in brackets 3 is disposed along the bottom of a window 1 and is supplied with air by a flexible hose 7. The hose is connected at its other end to a casing 6 in which are disposed an electric heating element 8 and a fan 9, the latter being driven by a motor 10. The heating element 8 and the motor 10 are controlled by switches 12, 11, respectively, which are arranged in the manner shown so that no current can be supplied to the heating element unless the motor is running.
