Road-traffic signals on vehicles. - Directionsignalling arms c, arranged one on each side of a road-vehicle, are actuated by a handle m rotating a toothed segment n into engagement with one or other of two bevel gears o connected by clutch couplings q and flexible cable i with crank mechanism h, g, f for rotating the arms c about pivots b. The arm c is held locked in the extended and folded positions by reason of the dead centre of the crank mechanism. The handle m is spring-pressed so that a projection thereon engages suitable recesses to retain the handle in the neutral and operative positions.
