Closure members, simple lift ; spindles.-In a siphon bottle of the type employing a separate pressure vessel C a shut-off valve is arranged between the latter and the liquid container. This valve G comprises a seat formed by a rubber or other elastic ring H, a spring K, and a stem g<1> attached through a screwed sleeves J to a further stem M. The valve is actuated externally from a diaphragm P and is guided by lugs n<1> on an annular member N.
