Abstract

332,354. Todrick, T. June 11, 1929. Golf clubs. - The metal head a of a golf club is secured to the metal shaft c by projections f on the shaft engaging with slots e in a socket b integral with the head a. A collar g surrounds a portion of the shaft c and screws on to a threaded portion d of the shaft b, thus holding in place the projection f. The slots e may be so shaped as to form a bayonet joint. The projection may be formed on the socket and the slots in the shaft. A thimble may be applied to the collar to give a finished appearance.
