Receptacles with cooling means; ice-making.- A cooling receptacle for table use consists of a metallic body formed in one piece, with separate compartments for ice or solid carbonic acid and the liquid, bottle, &c. to be cooled. The body may be of aluminium, copper, silver or the like, and the ice compartment 3, Fig. 2, may be below the compartment 2 for the substance to be cooled, or at one side of it. In another :form, Fig. 3, a series of compartments 11 for substances to be cooled surround a central lower compartment 10 for ice. Ledges 13 form a support for a central vessel 12 above the ice.When carbonic acid ice is used, water may be frozen in the compartments 11. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 21368/91, 1375/03, 24667/07, and 239,712.
