Indicating-mechanism.-An anti-parallax lens arrangment for use in connection with weighing and/or price computing apparatus comprises an observation window having part of its area formed as or associated with a lens whereby the reading area is defined within given limits, the parts of the window surrounding the lens forming an obstructive framework. As shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the lens 7, which is of rectangular shape, is secured to the front of a glass panel 8 mounted in the frame 9 of the chart casing. The upper and lower bounding edges are provided with stippled bands 8a or with a definite framework to prevent reading of the chart other than through the lens, which is preferably formed of such a width that only one complete line of graduations can be viewed..In a modification, the lens may be of greater width and have the upper and lower portions thereof stippled.
