Treating substances with fluids.-In the treatment of wound packages of yarns or threads with fluids, wherein the fluid, supplied to the interior of the package, which is rotating at high speed passes through the yarn by centrifugal force, steam is simultaneously supplied to the interiorof the package, either by a pipe analogous to the fluid-supply pipe or by admitting steam to the vat which in this case is provided with a cover.
