Splints. - A collapsable splint comprises a plurality of sections slidably mounted upon an articulated frame in such a way that longitudinal movement of the sections relative to the frame in one direction serves to lock them in an extended position, and such movement in the opposite direction serves to free the joints whereby the sections may be folded upon each other. Splint sections a are attached to the longitudinal side members of the articulated frame joints comprising strips of metal c attached to the ends of the frame sections by pivot pins d. Flexible strips g, b limit the relative longitudinal movement of the sections a to the amount necessary to free the frame joints and permit folding. Holes i are provided to secure the usual straps or bandages.
