Brackets. - A clamping device specially applicable for clamping cable supporting brackets or holders to vertically disposed frame parts or posts and for other uses comprises two parts c, d, adapted to lie side by side, each of which is formed at the edges c<1>, d<1> to engage the frame part or post b and at the opposite edges c<2>, d<2> to engage one with the other as by inclined tongues in such manner that relative movement of the two parts causes them to grip the post &c. The hook or bracket c<3>, supporting the cable &c. a, may be formed integrally with the part c or secured thereto.
