Mould materials.-Sulphite liquor and clay are used for forming or repairing feeder heads or linings of ingot moulds or for joining sectional heads &c. In forming heads and linings the sulphite liquor may be replaced by glucose or peat extract and sawdust, sand, burnt brick, or coke breeze may be added.
