Scouring appliances.-A holder for abrasive, polishing, scouring, or cleaning- pads has a cup-shaped portion containing means for engaging the pad which is attached thereto by being rotated relatively to the holder. As shown in Fig. 2, tha handle 1 has a . cupped portion 2 in which are fixed two prongs 3 having radial portions 3<a> and circumferential free ends which penetrate into the steel wool pad.
