Labels combined with umbrella rings.-An identification device for attachment to umbrellas and walking sticks comprises in combination an elastic ring 1, Fig. 1, adapted to engage detachably around the shaft of the umbrella stick, and a separate tag 2 flexibly or hingedly attached to the ring, and an identification card 7, Fig. 3, or tablet carried on one side of the tag. The tag may be of leather and may be attached to the ring by a loop 3. Attached to the front face of the tag is a metal initial letter or ornament 4 having prongs 5 passing through the tag and serving to secure the end of the loop 3 and a metal card holder 6. The identification card 7 is slipped into the holder 6 and covered with a celluloid casing 8. In a modification, Fig. 8, an address card 6 is inserted in a pocket 12. In another modification, the tag 2 may have a plain metal plate riveted thereto on which a name is engraved. The rubber ring 3 may be replaced by a spring clip.
