Luggage-carriers; seat attachments.-A waterproof cover for protecting cycle &c. saddles, pillion seats, and luggage-carriers comprises a piece of thin sheet material, such as celluloid or xylonite, of a springy and pliable nature such that when cut to the shape for covering the saddle &c. it will automatically wind itself into a roll, or each end into a roll, and when unwound will curl downwards around the edge of the saddle &c. and remain in position until released and allowed to re-roll itself. The thin sheet material may be strengthened by cementing thereto one or more strips of similar material or of thin steel of the same or a greater thickness. The cover may be made from two sheets of very thin material cemented together, with or without one or more strips of steel or other resilient material interposed. The edge of the cover may be slit to form fingers with the sides adjacent, in order to facilitate the downward curling of the edges of the cover; these fingers may be of triangular shape, with the apices pointing outwards. The cover when detached may be arranged to roll itself around the pump barrel, or around a member of the cycle frame. The cover may be of rectangular &c. shape, with the front and rear edges beaded, or the side edges beaded if the rolling takes place transversely. In the form shown in Fig. 6, the rear and front edges of the cover a are secured respectively between wood &c, strips d, d<1> and d<2>, d<3>, the strips d, d<1> being secured to the flap of the tool-bag e, so that when the cover is released it rolls itself around the strips d<2>, d<3> and lies behind the tool-bag, as shown in Fig. 9.
