Abstract

321,421. Pattison, E. W., (Doehler Die- Casting Co.). May 8, 1928. Drawers.-A drawer is provided on each side with a groove 11 near its upper edge, with which,engages a pivoted shoe 13 carried by the casing, and a pivoted shoe 18 near its lower rear corner, engaging with a channel y on the casing. On the upper side of the channels 7 are mounted rails 23 with which engage pinions 26 on a shaft 25 journaled at the back of the drawer. A stop 32, which can be withdrawn against a spring, engages the shoe 13 and prevents the drawer from being drawn entirely out. The corners of the shoes 13, 18 are rounded as shown to allow of easy insertion of the drawer and the shoes 18 are mounted on bushes 20, Fig. 4, secured to the drawer and formed with curved slots 21 with which engage pins 22 on the shoes, which are thus retained in position to be presented to the channels 7.
