Mounting and supporting.-In order to maintain the alignment of turbine parts in spite of temperature changes, the lugs 2 of the casing 1 are supported upon bearing surfaces 4 which are arranged in relatively inclined planes A, the intersection 0' of which is displaced vertically from the longitudinal axis 0 of the turbine. A formula for calculating a suitable angle of inclination is given.
